Corporate Wellbeing
“Poor mental health is estimated to cost the UK economy between 74bn and 99bn”
How many man hours are you losing due to sick days, stress leave and burnout?
Why should you invest in the wellbeing of your workforce? Simple – your staff are integral to the success of your business!
The Gut Clinic’s Corporate Wellness & Wellbeing Programs are bespoke, practical and comprehensive programs that will empower individuals and teams and transform productivity and morale within your company.
Our programs focus on the knowledge and habits required to improve gut health and therefore support mental health in tandem. They are designed to equip participants with the skills needed to implement good habits – whilst also giving them a full understanding of how these habits will impact their lifestyle.
The link between Gut health and mental health is one that has been much documented of late.
The Gut-brain axis is a growing body of research that shows a connection between the gut and brain. Bidirectional communication between your central nervous system (CNS) and gut microbiota. There are tiny microorganisms that reside in our digestive tract (our gut), and they play an important role in maintaining our health.
Studies have shown that there is a link between gut microbiota and diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease. There is also increasing evidence suggesting a relationship between gut microbiota and mental wellbeing.
Investing in your employees’ health & wellbeing is one of the most important steps that any leader can make to transform productivity and morale within your company.
