Ham, eggs, carrot salad and kraut recipe

Ham, eggs, carrot salad, and kraut! Who needs anything else?!

I often find that if clients are struggling with digestion or energy that the temporary removal all of grains, especially sourdough, in the morning can help and speed things up!

Good carbohydrates are found in all vegetables underground – they take a bit more time but the benefits outweigh bread every time!

Give it a go I bet you’ll feel more sparky!

What you will need:

  • Ham
  • Grated carrot
  • 1 x egg
  • Sauerkraut
  • Green peas
  • Spring onion

What to do:

  1. The best way to eat ham is to cook one in the oven. Ham is one of the most expensive foods in the supermarket when sliced, sometimes weighing in at £1.75 a slice. So to get around that issue you buy a ham and boil it and you’ll have ham sandwiches for a week.
  2. Grate your carrots (one per person is a good rule)
  3. Finely chop 2 x spring onions
  4. 50gm of garden peas –  just make sure they are defrosted by soaking in water until soft.
  5. Mix all the ingredients together with a splash of olive oil, sea salt and black pepper
  6. Fry one or two eggs in ghee, butter or coconut oil and grate a touch of parmesan over the top once on the plate if you desire.
  7. 1 heaped tsp of Sauerkraut to help digest. Don’t overdo the Sauerkraut, just because it’s good for you.

Enjoy, chew each mouth slowly and in turn, you will improve your digestion!
